Vltavan

LAGER

Appearance

Vltavan pours a clear, shining yellow hue with brilliant clarity. The effervescence forms a frothy, creamy white head that lingers atop the beer, leaving delicate lacing on the glass as it subsides.

Taste

The first sip reveals a well-balanced and refreshing flavor profile. A foundation of bready malt provides a smooth and slightly sweet base, complemented by hints of marmalade and caramel.

AROMA

A delightful bouquet of toasted barley greets the nose, accompanied by gentle grassy and spicy hop notes. There’s a hint of biscuity sweetness, reminiscent of freshly baked bread, which adds to the inviting aroma.

About this beer

The Vltavan brand was established in Bohemia in 1872. The beers are brewed using the traditional method of double-mash decoction and wort boiling and hopping. Situated amidst lush green fields and the serene, peaceful landscape of Southwest Czech Republic’s lake country, each can reflects the essence of the pristine nature surrounding the brewery, and the pure ingredients that are used to make the beers.
